Differents Types Of Tequila

Are all tequilas are the same?

The tequila drink made in Mexico and more than national representative, this drink has several categories which depend on the working time or rest.
An important classification is the leading tequilas to divide into two categories: noble or pure tequila and tequila mixed. The noble tequila all the sugar into alcohol comes from the agave itself. In the mixed tequila are added to the sugars from the agave.
Of course the pure or noble tequila is much more expensive than the tequila mixed on the label of the bottle never see the word “mixed” If there is no indication that the proceeds tequila 100% agave, it is certain that it is tequila mixed.
Because of its aging classification results in three categories:
1, White also called “silver” is obtained just after the distillation. Bottlers passes almost immediately. Only in oak barrels for a few hours or days, so the taste does not vary because of storage.

2 The reposado, is staying for a minimum of two months to less than one year in oak barrels or white oak. It is softer than white, has a natural golden color to a light amber soft, and its flavor has a hint of wood.

3 The aged: is it matures for at least one year in oak barrels, new or second use of 600 liters capacity. Its color ranges from golden to dark amber strong. Its taste is strongly impregnated with wood. If you have been aged at least three years may be considered “extra añejo”. More than four years should not be un-aged tequila, it breaks down, as otherwise with any over-aged alcoholic beverage. What then proceeds to do is bottle it. Since then it does not spoil.
